God Likes Your Style will hit the stores on June 17th

Negative is releasing ”God Likes Your Style” –compilation for summer. Compilation is offering hits and rarities to all fans and people who are interested about bands long career. Compilation has been joined mainly from B-sides but there’s also some rare acoustic versions from bands crossover hits. Compilation has been named after very first song that Jonne Aaron has written for Negative. CD-package contains story from each song written by Jonne himself.

At the moment Negative is working on new material.

Blood brothers

Jonne Aaron from negative and Ville Liimatainen from Flinch haven’t give any interview together to any media before this. Now brothers tell how they have share everything together. Also women.

It starts well. I’m at the railway station of Helsinki waiting for Jonne Aaron and his brothers Ville and Tommi.I call to Tommi “Where are you?”
-here at the downstairs, answers Tommi. I think that under the Helsinki or ...? Then I ask just “where?”
“Here at the yhtyneet kuvalehdet ”(That’s the name of the magazine office or smth)
Great, I’ve just ten minutes before leave Yhtyneet kuvalehdet and come to railway station.

I go back to Pasila(an area where yhtyneet kuvalehdet lies ) I take two beautiful boy with me.
I hug with Jonne to Ville say just hello. Jonne looks great with his short hair. I call it as a fashion look.
-cut by myself, Jonne laughs.
Boys sit into my little car. We drive to a studio to taking some photos This stuff isn’t given to anyone else I hear. I don’t know why but now just I am going to the world of family where’s two rock stars and a manager.

Sure it would be great to be as a Bob Dylan, be born with guitar and never think anything alse than music. Make records and be a star! This wasn’t the way how Jonne and Ville’s music career started.
First they had to find some problems out. First it doesn’t seem that Jonne could hobby ice-hockey –and so doesn’t Ville. What the hell they have done on the ice?
-My career ended when a big boy bring me down, Jonne tells.
-yeah I was looking with dad. We looked that now it hurts, Ville remember.
He was in ice-hockey too thought he was under ten.
-I remember just that I drank juice and dad say that I should to come back to the ice. I said I won’t It was end of my ice-hockey career.
Now both of brothers are laughing. Possibly it wasn’t so fun ten years ago. Jonne still bring to light that those times he played as a captain in a salibandy competition. At some time a racket changed to guitar I guess.

Let’s come back to the time when a little brother was annoying and a big brother absolutely bossy.
Did it comes like that way in your relation?
-Jonne was very cheeky youngster. And he was very determined. He got what he wanted, Ville says.
-That’s right, Jonne interjects.
The only time when I didn’t get that I asked was when mom didn’t buy me a mm-football. I was angry for that and I stole money from mom’s wallet and go to buy that ball. Later it disappeared because I had to hide it all the time.
That kind of kids become rockers. How about Ville, did you stole too?
-Yes, but I stolen just from Jonne. He lost many things…
At this period of discussion they don’t start to fight or blame. Wonderful brothers, didn’t you fight as a kids?
-Of course but still we have always been very close, Jonne remember.
- Yeah. I was more with Jonne and his friends than my own age, Ville says.
-Ville has always felt a same age as me and my friend Jonne says.
-Your friends were sensible. My friends were a kind of hooligans.
Did Jonne have the famous intuition to take care of that appears very clear in Tommi who is manager of both of brothers.
-Actually it didn’t when I was younger but nowadays it do. Specially because of these band stuff.
-Yeap, I have be able to avoid some problems because the big brother has went before. Some people has said that it’s easier to make a career because I’m Jonne Aarons little brother but It’s not true, Ville snort.

Guys grew up in a typical area of Tampere sharing a same room. Memories can be very typical but thinking about them very fun! Did you have much to remember in your room?
-Jonne collected jars. There were many of them.
-Yes I did. And He-man was fave.
- I remember there was Axl Rose poster.

What movies do you remember best from that time?
-Do you rmember ville when we watched Rocky and then we took Tommi’s boxingcloves(?) and fought?
- Yeah yeah I remember. And then we watched Mafiaveljet. It was very impressive.
-And a blue lagun. I really fell in love to that girl.
Ville had to be too yound to understand that, so you didin’t fight because of Brooke Fields. By the way, have you ever fight because of women?
-Not yet, Ville laughs.
-No with Ville but once Tommi become angry when I was playing Hotel California by the guitar to his girlfriend. Tommi tried to get me to go away but the girl asked he to stop because he touhgt I was lovely. I wasn’t very old in that time, Jonne remember.
Jonne doesn’t want to tell about his nowdays situation but Ville tells that he is a single.. And then Jonne says something very mysterios: In our family we have used to share everything. Also women.
And Ville jus smile. There can never be too much love, they say.

When Jonne become to teenage-age Ville had to move from a way. Ville, tell what Jonne was looking like?
-As a snoopy. He had a that kind of hairstyle.
-No I didn’t
At this moment Jonne tells he had had every colours and styles in his hair.
-yes you did. And you had dumby girlfriends.
- yeah, who said that Ville is so cute!
-Sometimes I was charmed to Jonne’s girlfriends.
- And you had that project that you tried to get whole upper secondary school.
-actually it started earlier but at the end of a upper secondary school it started to work.
It’s good that boys have had girls when they was younger because nowadays it would make them grazy.
- Yeah, nowadays Ville takes all of our fans, Jonne laughs.

The big brother was the idol to both of guys when they were children. Sometimes Tommi lived with mother and younger guys with dad so they weren’t very close.
- Whenmy music stuff started seriously Tommi started to interested my business’ First it was just pleasant I guess but then he started to help me to return, Jonne tells.
-We have become much closer to Tommi because of these music stuff, Ville impress.
Tommi, that secret hero. I tell to guys that Tommi has make very well job with promotion. It has helped very much of famous of both of guys.
Do you see thet?
-Yes, they say.
-We adore Tommi for ever.
-I was giving up in 2000-2001 but Tommi get me to return, Jonne thinks.
-Negative wouldn’t be here at all without Tommi.
I tried to get all of the three boys to the same picture but no. Tommi doesn’t want to.

We know more about Jonne, whose band has been famous about three years. It’s made a document of his life too. Also without it his music was bringing him to people’s hearts. Jonne tells he has give himself totally to music at the begin of the career. Later he has notice that there’s much more in the life. Just now Negative is working in the studio.
-There’s coming much different record than before.
Ville has just released a first record and he is touring intensively.
-It was very amazing that the first record was in top-40.
Tommi has left his safety monthly salaried job and now he works just with little brothers.
In the world of Liimataien everything seems to be pretty well. I’ve served lunch to guys and drive them to railway station. I wish a nice journey
It was a nice day. I wish I had a little brothers.

Качество - не приведи Господь, конечно, но живая Apocalyptica - это всегда живая Apocalyptica, пусть даже и в телевизоре.

Greetings!

Greetings!
I suddenly realised that it's already been a year since the last update about the band was written to this Forum. So it really is about time right now! Smile

The tour came to it's end a few weeks ago, i.e. the KarmaKiller-tour came to a huge end in Holland, where the last show took place.
From my point of view it was one of the best tours ever! Incredibly great atmosphere. It was great to be on tour again in a relaxed and freed mood.
We also came to playe in lots of new countries. Those countries, to which Negative never went to before. Mm. Mexico was one of those, and Spain!
Thanks again to all of those who came to the shows! GREAT!
Now it's the case that a wholly new wind blows together with the wind of spring into the direction of our band. The record-lable is a new one, in summer there's going to be the already mentioned b-sites- compilation-record (there's probably going to be more about that later) and we have just started to rehearse new NGT-songs.
We've been thinking again and again about demoing them and putting them in shape so that the studio calls again Smile But until then there's still a little time. Maybe in summer then, at earliest.
There were also a lot of new pictures collected all over the tour, so we try to get those to the website as soon as possible. I'm in a fiery haste right now since the rehearsal starts again in 28mins. So it's bye for now, here comes the cut!

I'll report soon and update this as soon as something conrete happens!
